Delivery slips are handwritten, copied twice and sometimes lost before the payment is made.
The record
Each delivery is entered at the weighbridge with weight, moisture and signer, and the payment is linked to it.
- 1. WeighGross weight is recorded when the lorry enters.
- 2. Test moistureThe reading is entered before the grain is unloaded.
- 3. Sign slipThe weighman and the member both sign the delivery line.
- 4. Pay memberThe payment is linked to the delivery it settles.
